16 March 2020 😷 Jorge Chavez International AirportHours after boarding my flight back to LA, Peru decides to close their borders and freeze all travel for at least 15 days. What a close call! A flight three hours later, may have cost me a whole lot of money and a nightmare situation being herded and stranded with nearly 3,000 other upset Americans.
Then there’s returning home to LA after being abroad for three months.
Deserted city streets on a Monday?
A completely empty 405 freeway—during rush hour?
And my Uber driver fumigating an empty passenger seat with Lysol at a stop light, while telling me through an askew face mask how ready he is to die if that’s what Jesus wants of him.
